No Front Sway Bar
could this cause the car to sway at higher mph? i added some weight to the front of the car and now at high speeds it feels like you are yanking on the steering wheel, back and forth. im almost afraid to drive it. all bolts are tightened down as tight as i can get them. any ideas to what the problem is. all suspensoin is stock and i am putting down 500+ horse and tq.

It feels like the car is going to fly off of the road when he goes WOT.
I think it's chassis flex b/c he has no SFCs installed :p
It only reproduces this sensation when he goes WOT with his turbo setup.

Is this on the street and what tires do you have? I now that Slicks have this problem on the freeway! Note it is very dangerous too not have a front sway bar at high speeds on the street or freeway! I have seen cars go from the right lane across all 4 lanes and just touch the wall on the freeway!

Well it could be alot of things like alignment toe. If it was always ok I would say wheels need balancing! Hell it could be shocks as they are put under great load without a sway bar! That is what motorcycles do at high speeds with weak shocks! What speed does it do this?

I've been driving mine for the past year without a front sway bar, 80mph down the highway and it drives fine. With the horsepower you are making it's prolly a bad case of chassis flex like Cannibal said above. A rollcage, 6 or 8-point, will help stiffen the car up.

My Buick GN used to do the same thing {I think I'm thinking of the same thing you are}. I also didn't have a swaybar and I had a set of "loose" front shocks. It would launch like crazy but once you got up near triple digit speeds {like you}, it would start to oscillate side to side. If I had to guess,,,, I think that it's air getting trapped under the car. Since the car has no sway bar {and at least in my case loose shocks}, the air builds up under the car and then escapes.
On the other hand, my Firebird doesn't do it at all even when I'm not running a front swaybar. But,,,,, I have a set of Koni shocks up front that even when set on it's lowest setting,,, are way stiffer than the shocks that I had on the GN.
Remember,,,, just a guess.
