Default changed rear rotors

and still have the "wobble wobble wobble" noise (and no, i'm not trying to mock a thanksgiving animal). i was hearing it badly the other day, and it's been going on for a while, but it didn't go away once in sound deadened my car, so i assumed it was a warped rotor. it definitely sounds like it's coming from the rear of my car, and i could definitely feel shaky braking, so i knew it was a rotor, just not which one.

i replaced the back two, but now the shaking seems to have diminished some, although i can't tell to what extent. so, i'm assuming the front rotors are still warped maybe. but do you think that could be the wobble noises i'm hearing? or could that just be my rear tires? i dunno, like i said, it really seems like it's coming from the rear of my car. thanks.

Well when mine front rotors were warped they didn't make any sounds just a severe vibration. I think I'm going to have to change my rear rotors because I'm experiencing the same problem your are.

actually, what kind of tires do you have and how many miles? although my rear rotor changing solved most of my wobbling issues, the noises are still apparent. i think my kumho 712's are just getting old.

I had this issue too and it turned out to be a bad axle bearing. The axle had a small nick where it rode on the bearing. After 65K miles, this tiny nick wiped out the bearing. I should have done the job myself but couldn't (new baby) so it cost me about $750 at the dealer for new axle bearings and 1 new axle (installed).

I have the same problem in my 00 Z28 (60K) miles. "Wom wom wom" starts off slow and the Wom increases in speed as the car does. I changed tires and rims and that didnt fix it for me. my next step was rotors but the Axle Bearing sounds more realistic now that Rotors didnt fix Tuffs problem.
