Default Movement of the rear end Side-to-side

Hi Folks,
One of other car happens to be 97 Z-29 (LT1 M6). I have been noticing that the rear end is rattling lately - tighten all the bolts, nothing loose. But what has me concerned is when I change direction (side to side) fast, the rear end sounds like it is breaking free and the car does not hold the road well anymore. It is a very hard clunking sound almost like the body is moving but the rear is holding the road. Does anybody have any ideas or had this problem.
Thanks
Bill

A good aftermarket panhard bar will keep the rear connected to the car in performance applications, my suggestion would be to start with that
