Lowering springs with stock shocks/struts?
What would happen if I kept my stock shocks/struts with lowering springs? How would the ride suffer, what would the drawback be?
Thanks, Shawn

replying from experience you would notice handling increases and better ride feel... but you would also notice all those speed bumps and pot holes, etc. as they are not your friend. i had eibach sportlines and they put me down close to the ground. i loved the look and they feel, but not the scrapes i got or having to creep over every speed bump and ditch in the road. i would get eibach pro kit if i were to do it again because it still gives you the lowered look, better handling and ride feel.

Believe me, you will be sorry!!! Initially, you'd be happy, but soon after the ride and handling will be horrible. I am speaking from personal experience.
If you can only do one, wait or do shocks first. Shocks will make a greater difference in handling. The minimum shocks to put with any combination are Bilstein HDs.

It really depends on your spring rates. I run Hyperco's with stock shocks and struts which I know isn't doing anywhere near what it should or could, but it drives absolutely fine for me. I don't go trying to break national speed barriers in turns though (riding on Kumho 711's doesn't help). I just like the ride and look. I spoke to Sam @ Strano and he sells a revalved Bilstein that would be the bare minimum for mine at a reasonable price ($500-600).
