Default Bilsteins, or KYB's?

Hey, while I have my car in pieces I want to change my shocks and struts, should I go with the KYB's, or the Bilsteins? Or, does anyone else have any other recommendations? I want to stay under $300 for them. Thanks!

What springs are you running?

Bilstein HDs will run you about $320 and are designed for stock springs, but they will work decently with aftermarket springs.

I have the stock SS springs, not sure if they are 1LE or not. Bilsteins are 300 on bimmerparts.com

bimmerparts sucks a little with their service (although they corrected everything with me) I would ask one of our vendors to price match from their web site...Last time I checked you can get direct links for those prices....

I would rather buy from one of our vendors anyways, thats how great sites like this stay running. And hey, if they price match, even better! (although I admit I still buy a ton of stuff from Summit)
