im wondering if these brakes will fit on a stock ls1 set up or will there be some modifications needed?

As long as you use the F-body sized rotor, you will not need to relocate them with any brackets. They will fit fine otherwise. Since you will still be using the F-body pad abutment bracket, you will want to brake pads made for the F-body also.

 

They will bolt right on, use F car pads and Pad abutment brackets.

 

cool im converting to the LS1 brakes and throwing out the LT1 stuff and thinkin about upgrading some parts while im at it thanks for the help..
