01 Z28 remove/install PHR and LCA's?

Not particularly. You don't technically need to support the axle when changing those parts (assuming you're changing them one at a time), but it's recommended to support it so it doesn't shift around and give you headaches getting the new parts lined up to bolt in. Other than that, it's a matter of 6 bolts. Pretty easy install.

Set the chassis on jack stands, not the axle. Removing LCA's with the axle on jack stands is very dangerous. DO NOT do this. Set the chassis on jack stands, pull one lca at a time, put the bolts back in and the nuts on (but not torqued down), then, when you are done, lift the rear up until the body just starts to come off of the stands (or drive it up on ramps) and torque the LCA's and PHB down with the weight of the vehicle sitting on the axle (install the bolts and nuts, just don't torque them down until the weight is back on the axle).
Use wheel chocks, jack stands, and follow basic shop rules (be safe).
