I'm pretty happy with my GS-D3's. I was really impressed when I found they stick in the rain nearly as good as they do on dry pavement.

I've heard of the 450 and 555 ZR's breaking loose when cornering, however, with the much softer compound of the Nitto Extreme 555R DR's, wouldn't they stick pretty good while cornering on dry pavement, in general?

Of course, the Nittos will stick great on dry pavement, but don't look to generate maximum g's because of the more flexible sidewall. As for rain, it's raining here tonight and I couldn't maintain traction with my stock powetrain and BFG KDWS with anything more than minimal throttle around a corner or from a dig.

RevGTO, you're talking street tires vs drag radials. UTQG ratings are at '400 AA A' for BFG KDWS tires, whereas the Nitto555R's are rated 100. Nitto 555R's are UTQG rated at '100' for the softer compound (as opposed to Nitto 555R II's for road racing)? My curiosity is more geared to the Nitto 555R's.

Anyone who explicitly runs Nitto 555R's on all four corners, i.e., in wet weather/cool temps/hard cornering?

I was making two separate comments. The second was to the point that if my car gets funky with these all-weather tires in the wet, how much worse will the Nitto DRs be?
