Exclamation Want to Lower my Ws6...HELP!

Guys-

I am installing Privats 18X9's on my WS6. I want to lower the car..Which kit should I go with? I am assuming that I will also need a APHR too?

I have heard good and bad things about each spring and shock kit out there, which have you had good luck with?

Thanks!

I just ordered DMS springs, and Bilstein shocks from Thunder Racing. When I install them (probably next week) I'll let you know how they affect the ride. Oh, and I'm sitting on Y2K C5's 18x9.5 all around.

Do not overlook shocks!! They are the most important part!! Bilstein HDs are a BARE minium and far from optimum. You should look towards revalved Bilsteins or Koni SA.

Sometime APHRs are needed, sometimes not.

I ran the HD's with the Pro Kit for awhile, it seemed to be a nice set up. So Bilsteins are always a good choice for shocks

ZaneO is correct, shocks are the key to performance and ride

Most likely you will need a APHB to recenter the rear, esp if you are running 18's. But you wont be sure of this until its lowered.

Here is an interesting point to consider (read the "Important Note" at the top): http://www.bilstein.com/pdf/PassengerCars.pdf
