Default Which Torque Arm with FLP Headers

I am now shooting for an 11 second time slip and eventually I will be shooting for a 10 second time slip. My problem is that I want a torque arm that is mounted to the body of my car instead of mounting it to the transmission. But all of the Torque arms that mount to the body will not work with FLP headers. So should I sell my headers and buy some different ones or will the tranny mounted torque arm stand up to a 10 second 6sp car. I only want to buy one so I want to get the right one the first time. Thanks for the help.

Have seen several people post about the new bmr www.bmrfabriction.com transmisson crossmember that takes the torque arm off the trans tailshaft and mount it on the transmission crossmember.I believe it would clear your setup and be plenty strong enough for your application .. hope this helps

I was told that that setup was not recommended for a 10 second car.

I could swear that Spohn makes a set of headers for your ride that will in fact clear long-tubes (FLP's).... I was looking into a TA myself and that seemed to be one of the better routes except the cost
