Default Pads? Stainless steel lines? I need some input.

I'm removing my calipers for powdercoating and figured I'd replace my pads since they are the originals and I have about 15,000 miles on the car. I was looking at Hawk HPS's, but I'm open to any suggestions. Also, I was considering, since I have to bleed my brakes anyways, maybe I should just upgrade to stainless braided lines. What do you guys think? Is it worth it? Any input would be appreciated. Thanx!

Yes it is worth it. Do you need it? No, but never pass up the oppurtunity for an easy upgrade in quality and peace of mind.

I haven't changed brake lines yet but I have played with my brakes enough to know. Unbolt the line from you caliper and the other end should be screwed in about 8" down the line. The rest of you brake system is composed of hardened lines. The part you will be replacing is the 8"-10" rubber hose connecting to the caliper. Just change that, bleed the brakes, and your done.
