aftermarket shocks with stock springs
I searched and couldn't really find a solution to this question...I'm about to buy a set of Koni SAs for my '99 T/A. I currently have a set of Eibach Pro springs ready to go on the car, but I'm getting a little nervous about just how low that combination might make the car.
I could try to sell the Pros and get a set of DMS or Hotchkis springs, but would that make a notable difference over the SAs with stock springs? I'm looking at an aggressive street setup for my suspension...no drag racing, no road racing, but a car that I could reasonably AutoX with little adjustment if I wanted to.

You can leave the Koni's at the top perch setting on the fronts and leave the rear springs isolators in and the ride height shouldn't change that much over where it is now. Figure the Prokit will drop what, an inch to an inch and a half or so? Where I'd do your homework is trying to figure out if the shocks and springs you intend to use will play well with one another. I'll send you a PM with more info.
