Default Can't figure out why brakes are squeaking on right side of '99 TA

So over the past 2 - 3 weeks I've noticed a squeaking/squealing coming from just the right side of my car while braking w/ light pressure. It really sounds like a metal on metal type of squeeling. I pulled the wheels and calipers off today to look at there is PLENTY of pad left (like 1/4" still before the metal pad indicator starts to rub on the rotor). Anyways, does anyone know what could be causing this? I did notice the pad retaining clips showed some metal on metal rubbing marks on them but that's normal right? I mean the retaining clip just holds the pad in place. Any ideas? Don't know the brand of pads but I don't think they're stock since they have so much pad left and I'm at about 47K miles.

Go to your local parts store and get a can of Permatex Disc Brake Anti-Squeal. It's in a little blue can and sells for like $5. Its probably harmonic movement of the brake pad as it begins to rub the rotor. That should quiet things down, and best of all, is easy.
