Default How to change springs?

Does anyone know of a good step by step website, that shows how to change springs? Preferably with lots of pics:-) I'm wanting to lower my car after I get some new wheels, and would prefer to do it myself. Thanks for any info

Bingo. On top of shocks being a better mod to begin with, you're yanking it all out, decompressing the spring to get it off the shock, you may as well replace the shock with something decent. You're not going to want to do this all again in the near future when you find out the deCarbon's are hideous with your springs.

also if you can use a strut tamer machine in a shop (spring compressing machine) as opposed to the ones you crank by hand you can save yourself hours.
