Default Best Pads?

I recently bought new Brembos for my car - drilled and slotted - and need new pads to go along with them.

What are the best, most expensive pads out there?

And what are the best, cheapest pads out there?

I put Wagner Quietstops on with my new rotors & so far I'm very happy with them. The are as quiet & smooth as stock, don't dust anymore & were under $100 for all four. I'm sure there are most aggressive pads out there as far as stopping power, but I didn't want to deal with the increased noise.

Best for what?
Noise?
Dusting?
Fade resistance?
Longevity?
Rotor wear?

I just got mine from a local parts shop. I think it was a NAPA, but I'm not 100% sure.

I have Wagner Thermoquiet pads. They are great pads and don't dust much at all. They aren't too expensive and they have a lifetime warrenty. I got them from Oreilys

I was going to be a smart ***, but I restrained myself. Good for me.

01 Red WS6 -are they quiet? I put some of autozones duralasts on my wife's S10, and they will not shut up. I put the grease on the back and they still would not be quiet. I'm thinking about trying the wagner pads.

Sorry to hijack this thread.

The autozone ones are crap even the guy that worked there told me that. I had a set on my truck and I hated them. The Wagner pads are very quiet. They are the best pads I've found

best-ones I've liked the most. Very very little dust, no noise, very little if any fade.

I'm not saying they are the best I'm saying they were the ones I like the most. Everyone has different ideas of the "best" and to each his own or in Obsessed case Her own

Sorry guys, mine are the Thermoquiet too. The Quietstops are from Raybestos which were the other ones I was considering before deciding on the Wagner.

Most Hawk pads are "carbotic" pads, not ceremic (though they may have a new street pad that is ceremic....I sorta remember seeing one recently. And, I have no experience with that pad if it exists). The hawk HP+'s I've used are very dusty. I've also use ceremic pads that are extremely dusty, but they were full race pads.
