Z06 calipers, pads and rotors. As for the conversion bracket, both LG motorsports ---> and Umiperformance http://www.umiperformance.com/ ----> carry them. The kits at LG are for LS1 spindles only. Umi's kit works with either LS1 spindles or LT1 spindles.

You can use just the calipers and reuse your stock rotors and pads. Dunno how much of an advantage there is, except for a fimer pedal.

If your asking can you just swap the caliper, the answer is yes. Its a direct bolt on, I doubt youll see any gain with switching to these calipers over what you have now, other than the caliper will be stronger, but if you havent spread the stock ones, the only thing youll gain is in the appearance department.

The Corvette calipers use slightly smaller pistons (40mm instead of 44mm) and will shift your brake bias slightly to the rear.

Corvette calipers are pressure casted, not gravity casted as they are on the F-bodies. Pressure casted is stronger.

The piston size is smaller on the corvette calipers, the only difference with the ZO6 caliper is that they're powdercoated in red, same price with the standard corvette and the red powdercoated ZO6 calipers.

I have ZO6 calipers on my fronts, got them after I rebuilt my front calipers with new seals and dust boot then the friggin driver's side bleeder bolt won't unscrew. Hammered a socket on it in vain, broke the bleeder bolt almost flush, used an EZ-out, overloaded the drill and now can't get the EZ-out bit from the bleeder screw, it's jammed in there now.

They will not bolt right on, the LS1 cal.
use 12 mm bolts & the C5 (ZO6) use
14 mm bolts. You would need to redrill
the spindle.

The guys are grinding the reinforcing ribs in a couple spots and just bolting them to the Camaro PAB's. It's not perfect, but they can be made to fit (I didn't do it, just explaining how it has been done by several).

My ZO6 calipers bolted right on, without using their calipers bolts. I just used my previous one's without any problems.
There is no need to redrill anything if your are just replacing the caliper's.

The pad abutment brackets are the 12mm and 14mm you speak of. If you use the Z06 caliper with the F-body PAB, you will not have to redrill anything.

Yes, you guys are right. You can just use your stock pad abutment brackets.
