Default BMR boxed SFC's installed...PICS (56k beware)

Got my BMR boxed SFC's installed yesterday also. Nice clearance and very strong pieces.

Nice job, does it feel any better in a slalom type situation? Or feel different?

I don't really road race the car or take hard turns. It's primarily so the ttops don't get all out of whack. Also when I go to the track, I want the body to stay kinda straight.

So are they actually preventing some type of measurable body flex or are you just guessing it will help?

I wasn't talking about racing, I mean when you turn the wheel left and right to make the car wiggle. Does it feel tighter, or have you felt any difference at all? Did you have any rattles or such before and did the SFC help with them?

I couldn't justify the expense if they didn't do anything. So I'm still up the air whether I should get some also.

The car doesn't flex as much as it did before the install. I bought these primarily for drag purposes so when the car leaves hard, the ttops won't be whacked out of alignment. Turning the wheel left to right is tighter also, but that is due to the combination of the SFC's and PHR. I would recommend both as they are relatively cheap mods that can only help you.

I had the UMI SFCs put on and I immediately kicked myself for not doing it sooner. These, along with bigger swaybars, make the car corner much tighter and stiffens the chassis up very nicely. They're not terribly expensive, and well worth it, IMO.

stiffened the car up, tightened cornering and improved grip while turning as well. I could run through a set of S-Curves marked for the conservitive 30 at 60 with ease, 70 was the near the edge. 75+ was pushing it. with the SFCs 70 now feels very stable. though i don't burn through there at 70. 60 mainly. the rest of the road is 45. everyone runs it at 55. traction at WOT from stopped is improved some.
