How long have you gone with Stock Rotors?
How long have you gone with Stock Rotors? I have 24K on mine and was thinking about replacing them. Who sells a good set of rotors without breaking the bank? I have seen them from $200 and up. What is everyone using? What about pads? I heard Hawk makes the best.

My front and rear stock rotors warped. So, when I replaced them I used what I was happy with on my 99' Firebird and got iRotor drilled/slotted rotors (from Brembo blanks) and Hawke HPS pads.
The rotors have not warped or cracked and the pads are a big difference for the better IMO. However, if you do not want brake dust or some noise from the pads I would not get the Hawke. But if you want to stop quicker and want the performance for the dollar I would definately recommend the Hawke pads.
Check GP since there are usually one or two sponsor sales.

I get about 2 years out of a set of rotors (around 20-22k miles, and that's pushing it), but I push my brakes pretty hard (a few autox a year too, and this year I'm thinking of hitting a track day, which'll probably toast my brakes completely). If you just want the performance, get brembo OEM blanks. They're cheap and work just as well as any of the more expensive cross drilled/slotted rotors out there.
