Default What triggers traction control?

How does the wiring for the TCS work? I don't have TCS but I'm wanting to use the retard function via LT1 Edit. I tried asking about this a while back and no one could help me. I know which wires in the PCM work the TCS but I wanna know what triggers the retard or in other words, how the PCM gets a request to pull timing. I know the wires, I think red 23 is the request wire and clear 11 is the wire that would illuminate the TCS light in the cluster (off the top of my head). So how do I wire this bad boy up to make it switchable (on for timing retard and off for no retard)?

Its a sensor on the rear axle that detects slip from the posi. Older F-bodys used the ABS sensor

on TCS cars there are reluctor wheels and sensors on each rear tire. This is what is used to "trigger" the TCS. Since you don't have TCS you don't have these

Yes but the wires are there for the PCM. I want to know if you ground that wire, apply 4 volts to it or whatever to make a timing retard. There was a big writeup on it but it's not enough for me, the novice. Here it is:
