Default How Hard...

Going to install BMR LCA relocation brackets, UMI LCA's and PHB, Strano Swaybars, and Koni SA's...how hard is this stuff to install by itself? I guess what I am asking is, should I wait to install all of this together, or can I do some of it byinself? I am going to be dropping the tranny and changing gears afterward, so I did not know if I should wait till then or go ahead with it? Thanks!

Do them as your schedule allows (except the LCA's & bracket as a pair of course). A benefit of doing them separately is you can feel how each mod changes the car. However, IF you are planning on changing springs in the next year or two, do it now. At least do the fronts when you do the shocks. You don't want to do that more than once. The rears are a cinch.

I will not be doing springs--only shocks as I do not want to lower the car more than the shocks will do (b/c of the gfx)...thanks for the info!

Shocks are not going to effect the ride height.

On the rear shocks, do you know about the little flaps behind the seat?

I do know about the flaps, and these shocks will adjust the ride height.

Why do you say that? Are you talking about the front SA's and their 2 snap ring grooves?

Yes, I mean overall, the front will drop, and the rear, w/ the bump stop removed, will be lowered.

Rear bumpstop? How would that effect the ride height?

I mean it's the springs that determine the ride height. You can set the front snap rings to the lower groove and lower the front 3/4". You can remove the upper spring isolators and wrap hose on the coils to lower the rear about the same amount,

Is that what you mean?

As retarded as it sounds, the LCAs, APHR were a ******* pain in the *** for me....I suppose I could have made life a lot easier on myself by removing the wheels for when the rear shifted, but why would I want to do that for myself...lol

The sway bar is easy too, just don't forget to put some grease on those bushings
