I'd never recommend these. The idea with DR-97's is to stop really fast cars in a short distance, one time. Matter of fact the "application" list shows them being suitable for only drag racing.

Hawk HP Plus..... HPS's aren't hugely aggressive at all. I have tried, and *don't* run HP Pluses on my car because they are so powerful that I tend to overslow when I just touch the brakes lightly while autocrossing. Work stone cold, not very hard on rotors, but the more aggressive a pad is the more aggressive they are to rotors.
He liked the feel of HP Plus's at first, until he learned proper driving techniques. He switched right back to HPS's because the aggressive compound screwed with his brake modulation technique really badly and actually increased his lap times.

true, but at least I did what the mods prefered which is...if one searches or sees a thread with an old topic and decides to add something relevant... then I just post to ttt as opposed to the various amounts of threads on a similar subject.

$160 for oem pads?? i don't think mine were that much but my suggestion is to befriend somebody in parts at a dealer and getting an employee discount.. worked for me.. i wuld like to find better rotors though..
