Default Possible Broken Ball Joint (Pics)

I think I might of broken a ball joint on my passenger upper A-arm when i steer either way i hear a rubbing noise. I also feel a slight vibration on the steering wheel I checked the pump and its seems ok.

Pull a wheel and check for slop. If it's blown, it will have some movement.

Have you hit any curbs or anything?

The boot looks normal from those "high res" pics. If you don't see any grease, it's probably OK.

the upper ball jjoint isn't load bearing, so with that wheel up in the air, if something is wrong, you'll be able to move it. i doubt anything is wrong with it from how you describe it though.

The ball joint does not appear "smashed". The boot appears to be wrinkled, but that is normal.
