Default Power Steering Issues: Hard to turn left only

Hopefully I can get a little help here guys because it's driving me a little crazy.

This only happens intermittently and when turning to the left. It's like the power steering completely cuts out on me. Nothing happens at all when turning right so I don't think it's the pump itself. Scared the hell out of me, but luckily I was just driving in a parking lot, I was trying to turn left and met a lot of resistance and just had to muscle the wheel around.

I checked the fluid level, and it was just a little bit low so I went ahead and topped it off.

Any ideas what this might be guys?

Thanks,
Dennis

Well, from the sound of it it's the rack. It's either a rack problem, or a pump problem, and you seem to have eliminated the pump from being in question.
