Default Need Help ASAP w/ QA1's

Just installed the QA1 front suspension on my car. Went in great and took it out to test it and when I go over anykind of bump it is clunking from the front end. So I looked at and checked over all my work and everything is tight. But when u load and unload the suspension the shock it self is moving a 1/2 inch or so. Why is this and everything is tight! Only thing I can't check is the nut on top of the shock, which should not have came loose in the first place.

Help me please, need to run at the track tomarrow.

Default I had a problem with my qa1's too.

When I installed the qa1's, my car started making a squeaking noise. At the beginning I thought that something was loose, so I checked everything and at the end I found that the problem was one of the new shocks. I just send the shock back to qa1 and they fixed under warranty.

Well, it isn't really a squeak, its more of a small clunking and I watched the shock actually move about a 1/2 inch or so.

We ran into the same problem with the last set we installed. I installed a set on my 2000, we got 30 miles on it and the one shock just completely blew out leaking fluid every where. I ended up just buying a new one and its fine now.

Check your front sway bar end links, if these are not tight or tight enough they will "clunk" over bumps.

Hope that helps
Ryan

Also, If I push up and down on the nose of the car, it clunks also.

I bet you have the nut on the actual strut loose, the one you can't see without removing the assembly.

I did some more research and I'm almost positive that I am missing some parts from my kit. Can someone chime in and tell what all came in there box for Generation F kit.
