Default New noise after brake change

Just installed cross-drilled and slotted iRotors and HPS Hawk Performance ceramic pads on my 99 T/A. I am noticing a growling noise upon braking when I slow it down from 70+ mph. The best I can describe it is that it sounds like a wheel bearing when it's going bad, but I know that is not the problem. It only happens upon braking. Is it possible that these brakes are just a little noisier or do I need to investigate further snce it is coming from only one tire? The parts are performing perfectly. It's just the noise itself that is troubling me.

Crossdrilled and slotted rotors do growl under heavier braking due to the irregular mating surface between the pads and the rotors. That's normal.
