ABS inop & TCS malfunction. HELP!
Alright, heres the issue. Ever since dynoing @ Pro Dyno a couple months back, I would get an itermittent ABS inop light. No biggie to me because it wouldn't last very long. However, tonight I was driving home and all of the sudden I felt the pedal vibration from the ABS.....I then got an ABS inop light along with my TCS not functioning. The gauge cluster shows my TCS turned off, but the switch for the TCS no longer works. I keep flipping it but the light on the gauge cluster keeps indicating its turned off. I find it kind of weird that I'm having 2 issues with the braking system all at the same time. Any clue on how to remedy the situation?

Check all the wires on the rear to the wheel speed sensors. Both the ABS and the TCS get their information from those sensors. It's been known to happen that the axle straps on dyno pulls can often disconnect that circuit or even damage the wires which would cause thoses systems to fail.

Had that problem before, and i hope it's not your ABS module. If you try to get a new one, they are priced around $1600 (Yes, that's the MSRP).
If that is the cause of the problem, then you can PM me for information about a company that rebuilds these modules (can't reveal since they aren't a sponsor). I have never used them before, however they promise a 2 day turn around time for around $200-300 to rebuild the module.
No matter what is wrong with the module, the dealers will only sell you a completely new module, since they feel that rebuilding them isn't worth the effort.

Ok, now this is strange. I dont have HP Tuners at my house, so I used my Predator's scan tool to see if I'm throwing any DTCs. The only DTC's that came up were:
P1539 - a/c high pressure switch circuit high voltage
P1546 - a/c clutch status circuit low voltage
There's nothing in the computer relating to abs/tcs or anything like that.

The predator will not read the ABS codes only PCM codes...You will need a tech two or similar high end scanner that can read ABS codes.
Foxxton...I would be very interested in that info if you could PM me please...My modual is bad, and I would like to talk to said company to see what they can do for me.
