Front brake question....
Front brake question.... I just got my 00' WS-6 M6 and have slowly been working out all the bugs. Last one left, is the front brakes. Have not even pulled the wheels to check the pads yet.
Problem: When driving slowly, or when gradual braking is done, no problem.
However, if brakes are applied harder, at higher speeds, the car pulls right.
Normally, this would mean bad left caliper, or left brake as tends to pull around the good wheel/brake.
Is there something in particular I should be checking on these f-body's?

I'd start looking at the pads for any tapering or abnormal wear. I'd inspect the caliper slider pins to make sure they operate properly and freely. While you're at it you might want to bleed fresh fluid into the system and just give the brakes a general overhaul.

i would def. look at the pads, with aluminum calipers they might go bad, i have seen them bad on cars with 15k on the odo. see if the pads are wearing evenly or if one side is wearing faster than the other. get 4 new rotors (i dont like turning rotors), a new set of pads, and some hardware, if the calipers are good.
