I ask since UMI is selling 3pt SFC and they are available in Red, black, Navy blue, silver, orange and white. My TA is Navy blue and the NB SFC would blend right in. The black would also be incogneto on the car. Silver would accent the color of the car and tie into the exhaust color. The red is going to be the stand out color. I just worry if I go with red will it look funny only have the SFC there and nothing else? I am thinking red since that is what most other companies offer for parts. The car is driven regularly and I like to take it to car shows.
Thanks for your imput.

Black, My car is red and I was going to go red as well, but the underside of the car gets dirty really quick, so instead of wanting to clean the red parts all the time, I said screw it and got black

If the material isn't very susceptible to corrosion (either from external factors such as moisture, or from mechanical items such as brakes and brake fluid) then I'd rather not have any colour coating. My big brake kit however, I do like to have a hardened coating, since it gets exposed to brake dust, road gunk, and possibly brake fluid when being serviced. If I have no option but to have a colour coating, I'd either have red or black, and that depends solely on price and availability.

I order all steel suspension parts in black powder coat if I have a choice. If they come in another color, I paint them with black POR15 coating. Aluminum parts I leave bare with the natural finish. Bright colors are for show or worse, Ricky-racer wanna-be's Black or natural metal colored parts tell people you mean business. Take a look under a NASCAR and that's what you will see.

All my stuff is black, but I think it would be cool to have the parts the same color as the car (so you could see pewer sway bar and lca's when you're behind the car). I think it would look good, and it's not too "Hey look at me!". Bt I'm sticking to black for now, I like the stock look

I've got black SFC and LCAs coming from UMI. My car is silver. I think the color matching to the bodywould look good on a car that is shown, But most of the time you won't see the stuff. Black will be easier to touch up if you get scrapes too. I just like the steath look.
