Default Eibach sprigs: are you happy with them?

Two weeks ago I installed a kit of Eibach springs (Pro Kit).
They lower the car by 1 1/2 inches.

On the highway at high speed they are fine: the car feels much more stable and sharp curves are easier to control, but if the road isn't perfect it a real pain in the neck!
You feel everything and after 1 hour of driving I'm tired of it.

Is it what you guys are looking for when you install this kit? Is it normal?
I start to regret I installed them...

I have 275/40 ZR 17 tires, if it matters.

Thanks - Stefano

Yeah, the prokit was like that when I had it on my car. The *** end was too low for me, it would bottom out, hit the bumpstops on rough roads and bounce like a rubber ball. What shocks are you running? Some Subframe connectors will smooth out the ride a bit and let the suspension absorb some of that shock you are. I started to dislike the prokit after driving from Virginia to Colorado on it. The SFC's helped later on but I still got rid of the kit. Couldn't be happier now though.

Ouch! It was better I asked this before.
Shocks are stock (Monroe aftermarket in the front).
In the front I had to replace them because the rod threads were badly rusted and I had to cut them to loose the bolt.
The car is a convertible and maybe because of that is shaking so much, but as you wrote: speed bumps, bar roads and garages are a pain.
That was an expansive experiment: 4 springs, 2 shocks and 2x install

I was thinking it was just A LITTLE more stable, but not so much...

At the least get a set of bilstiens, and then let us know what you think of it. The shocks will completely change the characteristics of the car.
