will the c5 kit even allow for 14" rotors? Well i guess so if they fit on f-bodies. And what size wheel will that require, i'm guessing 18" wheels since the c5 ones are 12.8 inch and they require 17 inch wheels.

From what I'm gathering so far (without having the parts in my hand to test fit) is that the new brakes are a bolt on swap to the C5. That means there is a 95% chance (give or take a bit) that the C6 Z06 front brakes can be swapped onto an Fbody with the C5 conversion kit. That would require 18" wheels and require you to use the C6/Z06 caliper. I won't swear to it until I can get the parts to test fit that setup, but it looks highly probable.

I have seen no pricing on the C6 Z06 parts thus far, so I can't even begin to guess. Hopefully we'll know soon.

It would require an 18" wheel.

If you read the thread on CF it answers almost every question you could have.

It requires 18" wheels, you need C5 conversion brackets to use them, its a bolt-on kit once you covert your car to be able to use C5 brakes, and they're not currently available according to Fred Bean.

I'd like to see a solution to convert our e-brake to be able to utilize the back brakes as well. I'd like to use all four corners.

As per Gene@FredBeans (post# 32 in the below thread) "The Z06 brakes including calipers, rotors and pads should be a little under 2G. They are not available and will not be available for at least another 30 days."

Thats a pretty good price. You can't get ANY aftermarket 14"/ 6 piston & 13"/ 4 piston setup for that price. Closest you'll get for that price is the Wilwood 13"/ 6 piston & 12"/ 4 piston...

Seems to me if you have the C5 conversion brackets the Z06 6-piston calipers would
bolt right up!!!!!!!!!
