I'm guessing that the tranny mounted one would be too short for the M6. Don't see how the cross brace mounted version would be shorter since it would be connected in place of the flimsy metal crossmember.

The top bar right where the cross brace is welded in. The person who built it was doing them to quick and put alot of heat into the bar, making it weaker.
