Random Tech torque arm install help
I got the car w/o motor and trans so I dont know for sure if this TA requires a special bracket on the trans. or not.
Ok, I did the same thing and put a ployurethane bushing and YES, it is a difficult process to get the bracket to close with the new urethane bushing.
To get the bracket to clamp, was a pain in the ***, arms, fingers, back and came with a lot of stress and fool language. What I had to do was trim VERY little piece of urethane bushing at the botttom of the t/a clamp so it can close with a bit easier. Because if I remember correctly, when you close the bracket with the urethane installed their is a little lip that is almost impossable to close with out trimming the lip a little.
Hope this helps.
Rookies.

Just one of the things I tell any of my customers when they are buying a TA that uses a urethane bushing.
