Default Is gravity bleeding the brakes okay?

Hello,

I have a 200SS with stock brakes and want to change
the fluid. Can I just gravity bleed (need to do the job by myself) carefully or will this not work? The car does have
ABS.

Thanks,

Gert

ive read on this and is it as simple as it sounds? just open all four bleed screws and make sure the master cylander stays full? Is that it.

It should by fine, but when you do your final bleed, as with most ABS systems, you have to bleed the farthest from the ABS unit, to the closest, on our cars that means, right rear, left rear, right front, left front. Have fun!

I did only two at a time. I did the back two 1st then when they finished I did the front two. It was easier to keep the master cylander full that way... Other wise I would have had to check it more often

I used a mighty vac hand pump and did mine that way...Way faster and less of a mess.

Just wondering how long each side will take to bleed
with new fluid, 10...15 minutes?
