Default anyone else find the ABS brakes kick in early?

Don't know whether this is normal or not. But if traverling at speed and I hit the brakes it seems to kick the ABS in quite early. Of course with the ABS active it doesn't slow down as quick, and I know I could bring the speed down quicker without it (in the dry anyhow).

Anyone else noticed the ABS kicks in easily with the Fbody's?

Cheers.

Hmm I seem to remember that when I was at higher speed 60+mph it felt like it kicked in. I don't know. I don't have it on my car anymore.

Mine actually caused me to hit a gaurdrail once. I was making a U-turn (probably going about 15 mph) and I was almost through the turn when I hit some gravel. The ABS kicked in and the car wouldn't stop and I bumped the gaurdrail. I was pissed. I swear if it wouldn't have ABS it wouldn't have happened.

My abs has kicked it multiple times that I would consider early. Just a PITA sometimes.
