iroc's had stiffer spring's and sway bar's do a good set of shock's to match spring and sway bar and you could easly get it handleing better then a 3rd gen and tires never hurt either.

I have no experience with 3rd gen, lol. They stopped making thoes way before I got my license. Anyway, Im sure that just a set of Koni's and a good alignment will take care of it.

OldeSkool says he has an :02 Pewter SS... No show, no go, lots of wasted dough
After years of carefully selected modifications, my SS performs like a 1989 Lincoln Town Car (in his sig)
Obviously your salesman did a damn good job of selling you a V6 with badges.

I can fix you up... I've had, raced, owned both cars (and more than a few). Even won championships in each!
The two biggest differences have been touched on. 3rd gens have bigger swaybars, and better (even the crap OEM) shocks than 4th gens do. Which tells you how bad the DeCarbon 4th gen shocks are. FWIW, don't do ANYTHING without talking to someone (me for instance) first. Because I'd like to know what kind of 3rd gen we are talking about as there was a lot of bar difference between an 84 Z28 and '91 Z28 for instance. And I'd also like to make sure we both understand what you exactly want to change in the current car in terms of behavior.
