Default pic of heater hose mod?

I'm gonna do the koni perch and heater hose to drop it 1/2" with the stock springs. But..

I've read the search results and still dont get it, buy 3ft of heater hose and then put 5/8" on the coils.
Anyone have a pic, cause I don't know what heater hose is or exactly what to do with it once I find it.

Its just black rubber hose. They have it at Ace Hardware, its on a spool and labeled "heater hose". Once you get it, slide it around the top coil of each rear spring. Reinstall the springs with the hose, and toss out the rubber isolators that were on top of the springs when you removed them.

And be lower than he might want, have stiffer springs than he might want or *need*, have to get an adjustable PHB, and possibly given his budget get less nice dampers to pay for the springs and PHB.

There are a lot of reasons the Koni's lower perch are a viable option over springs.

okay, so heater hose is like garden hose and will "snake" around the top coil (5/8" diameter, right)...I was picturing a fernco type thing that you shoved over the entire spring.

The konis and the stock shocks provide the perfect ride for me, handling is just as crisp as my bud with his lowered SS but rides alot better IMO.

Hey Sam, do you know how much the lower perch on the front definately lowers the car? I've heard anything from .5"-1" drop.
