Default Jegster Torque Arm Install Finished

I just installed the Jegster tunnel-mount torque arm yesterday. I will say that it was a little involved... We wound up having to drop the exhaust and pull out the interior. The install was not aided by the fact that we were working in the grass. The guy I bought it from lives out in the boonies.

My initial impressions of it are that the car is a lot more solid now with the torque arm off the tranny. I'm going to have to re-learn my launch technique, because on my street tires, it does nothing but boil the tires if I use my old way of launching. It'll dead f-ing hook from about a 15 mph roll though. You can actually FEEL the car shoving itself upwards. I'll report back later with 60 foot times from this Friday.

Pics, as promised.

Pics were taken with the car on the ground. Hopefully I'll get some better ones tomorrow, 'cause I plan to stitch weld around the saddle for strength.

I saw one installed in a "Camaro Performers"? magazine I got this weekend. They were putting a GV OD unit in a 02 Z28. First time I'd heard of the Jegster torque arm. Sounds like it works pretty good. Not sure if I wanna pull the whole interior though.

It's a little noisy, but nothing I can't live with. Then again, I'm more hardcore than most. It doesn't really clunk so much as amplify every little noise in the rear end.
