oops, forgot, the kits include adj. collars, sleeves and eibach springsand are around $400 for all 4 corners. unless you're doing some serious racing, the GC's are plenty sturdy for most applications. the qa1's are a nice set-up, but they're also $2000.

good luck.
The best supplier of Ground Control stuff is Strano performance. Sam has a lot of experiance working with them.

Interesting thread. Thanks for the pics. I've got Eibach pro on mine, and it looks very similar to their sportline set.

I'm surprised I didn't add my pics on here!

Okay before the change I had factory SS(Read Z/28) suspension, front height was 27-3/4 inches, rears 27-5/8"...

Now with GC Coilovers, I set the ride height to 26" fronts 26-3/8" rears, 500# front springs 150# rears...

Here's my SS on Hotchkis springs, supposed to be 1" drop, really - 1 3/4" front and 1 5/8" rear. I will be installing VariShock SA coilovers next month. Picts will follow.

Has anyone removed the rear isolators on a car with stock suspension? I want to eventually lower my car, but I cant afford it right now. Will removing the isolators more or less make the car look leval? Also does anyone have pics if they have done this? And how will it affect ride quality, I know I cant have the same ride as a cadillac bu the roads around here are terrible.

The spring isolators. I see alot of people with the DMS kit just use heater hose I was wondering if I could do the same with the stock springs.
edit: I found a thread regarding this a few threads down. But pics would still be nice.

Yeah you can do the !ISOLATOR! mod on stock springs. I think that if you didn't do the front's though your rear would sit lower. When I find some time I'm going to put the stock springs back on my car in the rear with the !ISOLATOR! mod and leave the front eibachs on. Just hunt around. I'm sure you can find some front springs pretty cheap. Just be sure to get new shocks and struts when you lower your car.

two picts of my car, with cut springs. I cut off 1 coil all the way around. I wish I would have cut 1.5 or 2 coils. But this is fine for now, soon I will buy new springs anyways!

the top of wheel to wheel well distance is the same as SLP lowering springs.
