Default Need new springs

I have a 99 WS-6 with a 2" lowering kit on it. I bought the car used with that. I'm having some MAJOR clearance issues with my exhaust setup (cutouts) and i HAVE to raise my car. I have MAYBE 1.5" from my cutouts to the ground on the passenger side. I'm thinking about raising it 1". Will that be enough? I still want it to look lowered, i don't want it to look like most stock TransAms and Z-28s though, that's too high.

What kinda springs would y'all suggest for me? Please include a link if you have one or know where exactly i can find the part.

Also, how hard is it to install the springs yourself. I'm a jew when it comes to labor costs and if i can do it myself without screwing my car then i will. Thank you.

You can do it yourself no problem. I suggest you get coil-overs so you can adjust them until you find the perfect ride height. That perfect ride height will probably change with time anyway, so they are a good investment.

Your best bet is to just give this guy a call:
http://www.stranoparts.com/

I would have to type in a couple pages to explain it all.
