Default rear brakes, fbody/c5 z06

are the rear brakes on fbodies and c5/z06 cars the same?

my only concern is the caliper, because i want to get c6 z06 front brakes, and i believe the rear c5 z06 brakes would match nicely since they are also powdercoated red, but i dont know if they will directly replace my fbody rear calipers.

The fbody and C5 calipers are basicly the same. They would work, but no help at all. Throwing C6 Z06 brakes on would probley throw off your brake balance.

I wouldnt do the C6 Z06 brakes just yet. Word on the street is nobody makes a pad for them yet.....not even GM. The only pads for these calipers, are the ones that are on the cars.

Honestly, if you want more than the C5 set up, go with stoptechs, or willwoods.

we'll see. i have to wait a while anyway since the only people that have them know somebody who worked closely with the car. it also depends on price although i heard a projected price being a bit lower than wilwoods, etc. i would get all four corners but i plan on running little wheels in the back at the track. didnt somebody else put these on an f-body? i already saw the c5 cars with them.
