Default I need rotor and pad help RIGHT NOW

I'm a little perturbed here... The holidays are coming up and I was just informed by my mechanic that I need new rotos and pads all the way around the car.
Well ****.
What do you suggest I go with?
I need to be cost effective here, but this car will see LOTS of dragstrip use and probably a great deal of roadcourse use. Not to mention it'll be daily driven all over the place.

So what's the best thing to do for rotor/pad combination? This needs to be done ASAP!

This is driving me nuts

Would Brembo high performance slotted rotors + Hawk performance ceramic pads be a good choice for autox/strip/roadcourse kind of stuff?

That's a good all-around setup, but you could save a little money and get the Brembo blanks (no slots).

I'm not concerned with the price difference between blanks and slotted. Would the slotted be more effective for roadcourses and making multiple passes at the dragstrip though?

No, they are about the same or worse and your pad wear will be greatly increased. Save money and pad wear, buy blanks.

Just made my way to O'reilly and picked up four rotos with LIFETIME WARRANTIES for $280. Seemed a little expensive, but the warranty is nice. I just hope I don't warp them too fast, otherwise I'll get sick of replacing the damn things.

The problem is that they do not list that compound for any of the LS1 powered cars (f body or Vette).
