Default Baer Track Kit

Someone on another site is selling a Track Kit w/13'' rotors. He has a 97 Camaro. Will that fit the LS1 Camaros or are the front brake systems different?

Thanks

Which one is the track kit? Ive got the GT+ kit and i believe if you have 13 inch rotors you have to have a 17 inch rim. Someone correct me if im wrong but thats what ive heard. Thats what they told me when i bought it.

I don't know, the ad said Track Kit w/13'' rotors. It's the ZR1 style stuff.

Complete front kit for $500+my stock stuff.

I just need to know if the LT1 front kit is the same or will work on the LS1 vehicles.

hey Frosty, your probably better off just upgrading to corvette brakes like i am doing, first off parts are pretty cheap and you can get them anywhere, you can get GM corvette rotors for like as low as 18 bucks a piece. the c5 adaptors are about 240-300 depending which ones you get, then you can use c5 calipers or reuse yours, then some misc crap, i have the part numbers of stuff you need if you want to go all out, im sure some of the stuff can be reused if your tight on money.

Are you sure he can re-use his fbody stock calipers for the 13 inch rotor? He has a z28 in his sig.

I wasnt syaing you need zr1 wheels I was saying that the zr1 wheels need to be 17inch for the rotor to fit. He specifiacly mentioned a style I was confirming, even with that style you need 17"

Oh ok, you threw me off there since I don't have ZR1's and if i recall correctly the only ZR1 style rims that are available in 16'' are for thirdgens.

The c5 isnt the fbody. What I'm understanding here is that your gonna run a 13 inch rotor w/fbody calipers not c5. c5 and baer gt are the same thing

You missed my point. The size of the caliper is the same between the Fbody and C5. In fact the pistons in the C5 caliper are actually a bit smaller.
