Default adjustable vs non-adjustable?

I tried a search because I'm sure this has been beat to death but for the life of me I can't find anything on the subject. Maybe I just suck at searches.
Anyhow, I have a 98 forumla (headers !cats,LS6 intake, shaner tb,3500stall, bolt ons, nitto's, ect ect)that gets little to no track time but does see some runs stop light to stop light on occasion.
I'm swapping my rear out and while it's out I'm replacing the fuel pump, LCA's, and TA. I just have no idea if I really need adjustable stuff or not. I've decided probably not with the LCA's just judging by what I've been reading(car is stock height and will stay that way). What about the TA? On a street driven non-track car is it necessary? The car will eventually end up with heads and cam at some point so I'm hoping eventually to be putting down decent power but even then it'll rarely see track time but I also don't want to sit at lights spinning.

I went with all non-adjustable on my daily driver.

Are you having any traction issues? Have you had your car on a dyno? Your cam is pretty close to what I want.

I was having the same problem and just figured if I don't know exactly what I am doing when adjusting everything I could do more harm than good. So I would just leave well enough alone and get non-adjustable!

Yeah, I'd already thought of that but if you never try it you'll never learn it. 99% of the stuff I do is by trial and error. I don't mind spending the time learning something although I hate tearing stuff up in the process but you have to break a few eggs to make an omlett.

U can get the adjustable stuff is u want but u do not need it. Want kind of bushing are u getting?? Poly?? On the lca rod end can be loud. I would also put lowering brackets on the rear before i put it in. I have BMR and Spone stuff. I like the Spone stuff better. I use the tunnel mounted TA. I like it but others do not. I would also put in a pb if i were doing it. I got a poly on one side rod end the other. It did not a much noise.

Pretty much everything I've seen has poly bushings in them. What other options are there? BMR, UMI, and Spohn all use poly bushings.

id consider getting non-adj. lca's and a tranny mounted adj. torque arm. even for a DD u can set your pinion angle to -1 to get a bit more traction. A PHB would also be a good addition. Most places have have a package deal. Im pretty sure UMI does for the PHB and lca's.

For LCA u can get rubber-poly, poly-Poly, Rod end-poly. A rod end is a solid end with no give. It is loud but holds the rear end in place. I would get a poly-poly for the LCAs. For PHB I would get a poly-rod end. I would also say to get a TA but i like the tunnel mounted with a poly mount to the floor.

he's asking for a daily drive that doesnt see the track often. I would not recommend the chassis mounted TA if he's not drag racing often. Poly/poly is quieter, but ive heard poly/rod is also pretty quiet. You will hate the chassis mounted TA if you want a quiet ride

Actually, my car isn't a daily driver. I just don't take it to the track much and only drive it on summer weekends when the weather is nice. Thanks to everyone that's replied here. You guys have been a huge help. I think I have it all figured out now. Just gotta place my orders for everything and start tearing the car apart.

even still if its not seeing the track often, then no need to go with the chassis mounted TA. I have it in my car and i havent been to the track in a long time cause its always something going wrong let us know what you decide on.

I'm going to get UMI non-adjustable LCA's and a UMI tranny mounted adjustable TA I think. The only thing left to find out is if the UMI TA works with headers and my strange 12 bolt. I don't see why it wouldn't but I want to make sure before I order everything. Since my rear won't be here for 4-6 weeks I also thought I'd take my time ordering to see if maybe someone ran a deal or GP in the next week or so. I'm also adding a tunnel brace and a driveshaft safety loop to the pile. The safety loop is something I've wanted for a while but just haven't gotten yet.

Something I found tonight that kinda caught my attention is the BMR bolt on LCA relocation brackets. Anyone heard anything about these? I wonder how strong they would be just bolted on?
