Question Brake Pads?

Could someone post the type of Brake Pads I need to order, and possibly a cheap place to order from, to replace the standard Brake pads on my Z28. I don't need any performance pads, I just want to replace them and don't know what kind I need to get.

Thanks in advance!!!

Just call up your local Autozone, they should be able to fix ya up, and it'll definitely be the quickest method

I have Hawk HPS and they dust way more than stock and they make a lot of noise (sqeeling).

They do feel like they stop faster and the dust does seem to wash off the rims easier than the original pads.

I'd say after two days driving I have to wipe off the wheels where the original (stock pads) were 4-5 days.

I have no increase in dust but they usually do squeek, but thats normal for carbon metallic pads. Proper break-in (as defined by Hawk) helps with the noise and overall performance.

Cool

I've heard really good things abouth the Wagner ThermoQuiet Brake Pads. I just purchased a set myself along with the Bear Eradispeed Plus rotors so I'll get to see first hand how well they work. By the way, they are guaranteed not to squeak.

I have run the wagner thermoquiets for the past year. The are good and dont make any noise. If you need a performance pad I would suggest the carbotech xp10. After bedding in these work great on the track but dont use them on the street.
