Default suspension adjustment

I'm new to this site and was looking for some good info...

My z28 is lowered by about 2.5", the alignment shop told me there was not enough adjustment to get .5 degrees of camber. Now my tires ar wearing real bad on the inside shoulder because the tires have way too much camber.

What are my options to get a good alignment that won't cut tire life in half?
(??? new control arms, K-member,...???

Change your springs to something a little higher.

Look into some BMR upper 'A' arms. They might help you out.

Two and a half inches is a HUGE drop to get by changing springs. Most people go for one or 1.5 MAX. You're running at the extreeme low end of normal suspension travel BEFORE you hit a bump. There's no range left for your suspension to allow the wheel to roll over a bump. That's why no alignment shop can help you. If you want to keep your drop yet have suspension travel, get the drop with an offset spindle rather than lower springs.

you need to get more adjustability, try the sponsors --> or maybe a few custom parts will be needed.

IMO try fitting some suspension to the car. The whole idea of suspension is to allow it to move up and down. And there's know way yours is.

It's not a HUGE drop. it's an eibach pro kit, after being in the car for over two years they have setteled to between 2.25" and 2.5 " drop. (maybe the car was higher than normal to begin with) I still have have suspension travel, I can still go over speed bumps, The car can go on a flatbed truck, and I have NO scrapes on the bottom of the bumper cover.

227hawk, thanks for answering, I like the Idea of the upper control arms, but I think I might go with UMI.

Any other suggestions, how amout a BMR K=Member

Not if you plan to daily drive it. I've read a few horror stories on this site about welds breaking on those. That part is not intended for use on a daily driver.
