Default Power steering cooler

Hey i just noticed that the ws6 comes with a factory power steering cooler is this part worth it for my 01' t/a , i can get one cheap if it is lemme know thanks

i would say unless you autocross alot, i wouldnt worry about it

well will it make my PS system last longer without problems i can get one for 20 bucks

It's needed if you are running 17" or larger tires.

you can get a brand new one from B&M for 20 bucks. its a auto tranny cooler but it doubles as a PS cooler. plus you get a warrenty.

is that better than the stock one the ws6 come with cause i do plan on gettin 17's

look around on summitracing.com there are ones for 200 bucks and some for 20......some probably better than others.

well im wondering cause the factory one runs on antifreeze cooling it and that one is air cooled

I have a Z28 and my PS cooler runs through the lower radiator hose... I would think that would be enough, right? It's compact, lightweight, minimum tubing and won't cut down on airflow accross the radiator. What kind of cooler do you have??

well the problem with a water cooled cooler, any cooler tranny, P/S, oil, whatever is if you rupture it say somthing flying in the air infront of your car and you rupture the cooler your going to get antifreeze in your P/S lines. i had that happen on a 95 ford truck. someone put an oil cooler on it water cooled and it ruptured very small and leaked antifreeze in the oil, thus blowing the engine.
