What shocks to use with Eibach Pro kit
I just got my Eibach 2" drop springs yesterday. I am not planing on new shocks, But a few people I have talked to told me it might not be a bad idea. What is the best priced decent shock I should get to use with these springs???? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with revalved Bilstein's from Strano. He'll match them to what you want and how you drive for around $500.

I have talked to Sam about revalving Bilstein's and he won't do it. He strongly was against HD's on a lowering spring with a higher than stock spring rate.

I won't revalve used shocks. There are certain springs that I feel the only thing to use is Koni's due to spring rate.
But I do Revalves all the time. You're thinking of plain HD's (which Revalves start as), and are not meant for lowering springs.

Stock is about 292/115-ish. LS1 Pro-kit (and that's key, because LT1 Pro-kits are very different) are 400/80-137 rear (but really more like 120-137 working rate). So while the rear isn't hugely stiff, the front is around 25% stiffer.
Pro-kit wtih the lower perch on the Koni's is absolutely not recommended. Actually the lower perch is only for stock height springs. You will damage something, and likely not be able to drive anywhere without dragging something, somewhere.....

I don't follow the question. First off, you can't run stock springs with the pro-kit, as those as springs too. Maybe you meant stock shocks with the pro-kit???????
HD's are better than stock shocks to be sure on a lowered car. But better does not equal correct. And the stock shocks are so poor, the little shock on you screen door at home might be better.

First of all, i do not believe the Pro Kit is a 2" drop, that is the Sportline kit i believe. Which one do you have? I have the sportlines (2 inch drop) and am curious about some decent shocks for it for daily driver. Or maybe i got it mixed up? but i think prokit is like 1.2" drop and sportlines is 2"

Sportlines are lower than Pro-kits. They are listed as approximately 1.6"f/1.4"r, and 1.2" lower respectively. Note the word *approximate*.....
Pro-kits tend to be about 1.5" lower, and Sportlines are usually around 2" lower in the real-world.

Sportlines are crap.
Options for lowering springs are:
KYB AGX: Allows adjust ability and is the cheapest shock that can dampen a lot of lowering springs, just not that well. The shocks adjust rebound and bound settings at the same time, which isn't optimal for tuning.
Re valved Bilsteins: HDs used to be the go to shock for alot of folks on here, but the HDs were changed to behave more like factory decarbons, so re valves are the only real option. Unfortunately, Bilsteins are on backorder, so unless you want to wait you might was well save up for a better option.
Konis: Allows a wide range of rebound only adjustability and will make factory springs ride like a German sedan, and lowering springs handle like a true sports car.
