I hated changing the front springs, I'll never do it again. I HIGHLY suggest taking it somewhere to get that done.

spring compressors, big wrenches to pry the coils to get the spring compressor out of the spring and a small mallet to hit the wrenches.....good luck

The front passenger side is the bitch. Extra tools I needed were various grinders, multiple cutoff wheels, vice, 4 lb. sledgehammer, lots of penetrating lube. I ended up cutting the shock into about 5 pieces and the stock spring in two trying to get the hat off of the shock. The two parts had fused together. Would have gotten the whole install done in 3.5 hrs. if it weren't for that.

yeah, we cut the strut itself to get that fvcker apart...passenger side like stated above. those damn nuts were so fvckin rusted, we even used penetrating lube...let the nut sit in a puddle for about an hour and it still didn't work. so we torched it off and that solved the problem.
