power rack for bmr k-member
okay, I just got my bmr kmember and it's fabbed for the pinto manual rack. Are there any power racks that will bolt in its place? Or any adapters to go from one to another? I really hate to cut and weld on this nice new kmember.

I got the "regular" BMR K and the stock rack went on fine.
For a drag oriented car you might prefer the Pinto rack
(though dunno about how the end links would adapt up
to stock steering) for reduced losses and weight. I don't
think it would be any fun on fat front tires like mine, but
if you run skinnies up front then what the hell?
You might check out whether Pinto V6 or MustangII
models had power steering optional, if so these might
be a rack option.

I thought about using the mustang II or pinto power rack, but they bolt up a little different. I might try and make a bracket to bolt to the k member to adapt one of those power racks.
