I'd say that maybe the tubular would be better at resisting flex or, you could box your factory LCA's on the cheap by welding on some flatstock.

Bump.....Was searching to ask the exact same question. I have tubular right now but just bought some parts in a "package deal" from a friend and got some boxed ones in the deal.

Also, they are rubber/poly so which direction do they go on? Kind of lost in the suspension area.

I have Spohn Adj. Poly/Rod LCAs & PHB.
(Poly on the body end, Rod on the axle end.)

I read as much as I could on the subject and decided on these as a good compromise between control/comfort/price. They use good quality teflon-lined rod ends.

They came originally set to the stock length and the alignment shop adjusted them to properly align the rear axle (it was a bit off, even with the stock parts).

spohn tubular rod/poly combo here... if anything the tubular save room underneath there if you ever plan on running wide rubber back in the rear

I've got a set of 315/35 Nitto DR's sitting here about to put on right now, but I'm pretty sure that is the same tire the guy that I got them off of was running.
